I've been a little busy over the Easter holidays, here is one of my final painted out designs. As i cant screen print at home i have had to hand paint this out...and yes it took me forever!!!
I took this design straight from one of my drawing sheets and made it A1 size, it works so much better when its bigger :-)

Today i've been busy doing some more drawing sheets for my last project as i had some more ideas that i could do for some designs.
I will be putting these drawings into repeat wallpaper over the holidays so that i can print them when the holidays are over! time seems to be going to fast...not long left now!!!

After spending my life in the print rooms that past few weeks, here is another of my repeated lengths of wallpaper, this one looks very long as it is about 5 metres! it is also upside down as i printed it backwards. I will get the hang of it eventually, i promise!

I wanted to create a very detailed repeat with the old vintage necklace, because of this i had to stick to one colour so it looked very professional.

For the past few months i have been developing designs for wallpaper that consist of lots of different pieces of intricate jewellery. My concept was originally the 'Gemstone Fawklore' trying to create moods and shapes through colour. As i started drawing i changed and researched into old vintage jewellery. Visiting London and going to the V & A museum helped me to find lots of research for this!
Here is my first wallpaper design!!! This was very hard work with all the colour ways and screens that i needed. It is the best feeling in the world when you print it and the design actually lines up :-)
